The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Betty) McGrath, Fennor, Collinstown, and formerly of Kilpatrick, Collinstown, Co. Westmeath on the 21st July 2023, peacefully in the care of her family and the staff at Newbrook Nursing Home, Mullingar.

Predeceased by her husband Hugh and her infant son Christopher.

 

Loving mother of Sean, Ann (Fitzsimons), Willie, Michael, Tom, Hughie, Gerard, Mary (Smith), and James. Betty will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters, sons in law, daughters in law, her adored 31 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.

 

Reposing at her daughter Mary's home, Gigginstown (Eircode N91 N2R5) this Sunday afternoon from 2pm with prayers at 6pm, followed by removal to St. Joseph's Church, Turin to arrive at 7pm approx. Funeral Mass takes place on Monday morning at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

PLEASE NOTE: Traffic management in place for one way system. Access via Delvin road N52 Fennor junction or Crookedwood junction (Turin GAA pitch) and exit via Killulagh/Johnstown. . Please follow directional signs and steward's instructions.

The McGrath family would like to acknowledge and thank the doctors, nursing and support staff of the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar for their care for Betty during her time there.
