Elizabeth (Betty) Murphy (née Murphy) of Little Bray, Co. Wicklow, passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at home, in her 97th year, on Wednesday, 10th December, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Francis, much loved mother of Rosario, Frances, Patrick, Christopher, Goretti, Patricia and the late baby Elizabeth, mother-in-law of Trevor, adored Nanny of Nicola, Trevor, Lisa and Jennifer and to her 10 great-grandchildren; loving sister of Thomas, Annie, Essie and the late Bridie, Mary, Rosaleen and Patrick. She will be sadly missed by her family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Sunday (Dec.14) from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. A Service to Celebrate Betty’s Life will take place on Monday at 12.00noon, in the funeral home, followed by private cremation.
