NUNAN – Elizabeth (Betty), née Barry, (Cork, and Blackrock Co. Dublin), 93 years old, died peacefully in the excellent care of Newtownpark House Nursing Home on 18th April 2026. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Berney, and her sisters Anne and Peig. Sadly missed by her children Bernice, Anne, Maeve, Frank, Vincent and James, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and partners Pierre, Chris, Erica, Nicola and Liz, her grandchildren Andrea, Triona, Robbie, Aisling, Abbie, Euan, Harvey, Freddie, Florence, Lyra, Alexandria. Betty will be dearly missed by her eldest sister Frances who was her constant companion. She will be sadly missed by the Conway, Mc Cormick, Ryan families.

Her remains will repose in The Oratory, Newtownpark House Nursing Home, Blackrock on Monday 20 April from 5pm – 7 pm. The Funeral Mass will be in the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown at 11am on Tuesday 21 April, followed by the burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
