O'Brien (Kinsale) on August 22nd 2020 peacefully at Cork University Hospital and surrounded by her loving family. Elizabeth (Betty) (nee McCarthy), Tissasson, beloved wife of the late Cornelius and adored mother of P.J., Jerry, Timmy, Neilie, Tony, Mary (Cronin), Vincent, Martin and her late infant daughters Ann, Bridget and Elizabeth, and beloved sister of Charlie, Timmy, Eily, Mary, Bridget and the late Denny, Joan, Sheila, Peggy, Jane and the recently deceased Neilie, and grandmother of the late Baby Aishling Cronin. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, her 20 grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

In an effort to follow Government and HSE guidelines, Betty's funeral will be private. The family would like to thank you for your co-operation and understanding at this difficult time. Condolences can be left on the 'condolence' link below.

Betty's Funeral Cortege will be leaving Tissasson on Monday at 1.20pm via White Castle and Milewater Cross on route to St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale for a private Requiem Mass at 2pm which will be livestreamed on www.kinsale-parish.org and after the funeral Mass, Betty's Funeral cortege will proceed in the traditional route through Kinsale town on the way to St. Eltin's Cemetery.
