Sawyer (née Gannon), Ashfield, Arklow, Co. Wicklow, formerly of Tara Hill, Co. Wexford and Wandsworth, London, 28th November 2025, peacefully after a short illness in loving care of the staff and her family at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Elizabeth (Betty) loving wife of the late Frank and dearly loved of mother of Paul and Helen, treasured nanny of Kerri and Jake. She will be sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law John, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Betty Rest in Peace.

Betty will be reposing at Hudson’s Funeral Home, Arklow (Y14 PT80) on Sunday from 4pm to 6pm. A private Cremation service, (with her family in attendance) will take place on Tuesday at 12.45pm in The Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin.
