Elizabeth (Betty) SMITH (nee Ryan) Rathconnell, Mullingar (formerly of Harbour St., Mullingar) January 17, 2025 - (peacefully) after a short illness, bravely borne with great courage and dignity, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the Palliative Care Team at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar; pre-deceased by her beloved husband Harry.

Betty will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her much loved children Veronica (Robinson), Peter, David and Henry, cherished grandchildren Derek, Lisa, Jack, Eoin, Stephen, Jonah, Arran and Ava, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Anne-Marie and April, son-in-law Norman, dear brothers Tom and Con and sisters Margaret, Anne and Stella,brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

May Betty's gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing at Shaws Funeral Home, Bishopsgate St., Mullingar on Sunday January 19, from 3.00 o'c. concluding with prayers at 5.30 o'c.

Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11.00 o'c. in The Church of the Assumption Taghmon , followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery.
