THORNBERRY, Elizabeth (Betty), (née Kavangh) – 25th of June 2025, (Ballyfermot and formerly of Cashel Road), (Peacefully), surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at Victor Synge ward in St. James’s Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband George and her granddaughter Laura. Betty will be very sadly missed by her sons Brian, Christy and George, daughter Mary, son-in-law Tom, daughters-in-law Anne and Annette, all of her dearly loved 18 grandchildren, 24 cherished great-grandchildren, sister Rosaleen, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. The family would like to say a special thank you to all the wonderful staff in Glenaulin Nursing home who looked after Betty so well over the last 2 years.

Betty will be reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Ballyfermot on Monday the 30th of June from 3-5pm. Removal to The Church of St. Matthew, Ballyfermot on Tuesday the 1st of July, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11:30 followed by burial in Palmerstown cemetery.
