Elizabeth (Betty) Ward (née Long) of Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Cork City, passed away on Monday 12th November, 2024, in her 92nd year, in the care of Eyrefield Manor Nursing Home, Greystones, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved and devoted wife of the late William Francis Xavier (Frank), kind, generous and loving mother of Margaret (Mags), Noelle, Raphaelle and Elizabeth (Liz), mother-in-law and friend of John and the late Colin and dear sister of the late Patrick, Terry and Noelle Long; she will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family, relatives and friends.

A gathering for family and friends will take place in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Friday (15th November) from 4.00pm-6.00pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday (16th November) at 10.00am in Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray followed by burial in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray.
