The death has occurred of Elizabeth Brophy (née Mulligan) (Betty) on Sunday 25 th February 2024, peacefully surrounded by her beloved family. Formerly of Celbridge, County Kildare, Betty lived in Winchmore Hill in London, Spiddal in County Galway and latterly Lowton in Cheshire. Wife of the late Martin, she is predeceased by her siblings, Venie, Joe, Jimmy, Seán, and Joanie.
Sadly missed by her sister Maura, her brother Eamonn, her devoted children, Paul, Niall, Geraldine, and Caroline, her ten loving grandchildren, Niamh, Alistair, Niall, Ciara, Tom, Tara, Aimee, Louise, Mollie, and Florence, sisters-in-law, Josie and Clyle, sons and daughters-in-law, Tony, Joanne, Sue, and Tony and her many nieces and nephews in Ireland, England, America, and Australia.
Reposing at the Cillín within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna on Thursday, 7th March, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 8th March, in the Church at 12.30pm. Burial afterwards to Knock Cemetery, Inverin.
