Elizabeth Curran (née Haughney), Beechmount Road, Highfield Park, Galway and formerly of Clonbrock, Crettyard, Co. Laois, passed away peacefully in Galway Hospice on Thursday 21st December, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Jim, brothers Martin and Paddy, sisters Ellen and Annie, nephew Michael Hughes and his wife Anne and her niece Bernadette Hughes. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Louise, sons John and Martin, granddaughters Niamh, Aoife, Ellen and Anna, great-grandchildren Marni, James and Alice, son-in-law Kelvin, daughter-in-law Karen, sister-in-law Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy on Tuesday (Jan. 2nd) from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday 3rd January, 2024 in Saint Abban’s Church, Doonane, Crettyard at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Galway Hospice Foundation (www.galwayhospice.ie) and/or The Irish Heart Foundation (www.irishheart.ie).
