Elizabeth Donohoe, Glencurran, Carrickaboy, Co. Cavan, Tuesday, December 30th 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Michael (Mickey), her dear grandson Oran, parents Terence and Bridget Comiskey, and her sister, Gretta O'Brien.
Deeply regretted by her loving sons, Martin (Caroline), and Seamus (Ann), daughters Geraldine (Mark), Claire (David), and Teresa (Stephen), Her adored grandchildren Ciarán, Sarah, Kiara, Regan, Caolan, Rachel, Charlie, Hollie, Aoife, Amy, Niamh and Éabha , her sisters, Rosie Reilly, Lena Kerrisk, Bridie Comiskey, Tess O'Loughlin, and Veronica Smith, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.
Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Thursday evening from 5 pm until 8 pm. Removal on Friday morning to St Matthew’s Church, Drumavaddy to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon. Interment afterwards in Old Cemetery. House private to family, neighbours and close friends.
