Elizabeth Foley (nee Noonan)

formerly Shanballymore, Co Cork.

In her 91st year, passed away peacefully in Cork University Hospital on March 23rd 2025.

Wife of the late Jerry, mother of the late Elizabeth, grandmother of the late Aaron and Nora Pio and sister of the late John and Kitty (Daly).

Elizabeth will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving family, son Tim, daughters; Nora and Siobhan, brother Jim, sisters Joan (Ensko), Marjorie (O'Leary) and Mary (Johnson), grandchildren; Katie, Daniel, Jamie and Diarmuid, son-in-law Michael, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours, carers and friends.

May Elizabeth Rest In Peace.

Reposing in Hannon's Funeral Home, Doneraile ,on Tuesday evening, March 25th from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castletownroche.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday, March 26th at 12noon with burial afterwards in Ballyhooly Cemetery.

No flowers please, donations in lieu to Mallow General Hospital.

The Foley family would like to extend a special word of thanks to Elizabeth's carers, to Dr Lydia Huisman and her team at New Road Surgery, Castletownroche for the medical support they provided to Elizabeth, to Mallow General Hospital where Elizabeth received great medical care and attention in more recent years and finally to Cork University Hospital where the staff showed kindness, empathy and support to Elizabeth in the final days of her life.
