Elizabeth Hegarty
(née Barrett)
HEGARTY (Whitechurch, Co. Cork): On February 22nd 2026, peacefully, at the Bon Secours Hospital surrounded by her loving family, ELIZABETH (née Barrett formerly Killavullen,) Church Road, Whitechurch, dearly loved wife of Jimmy and much loved mother of Helen, Anne, Dan and John, and dear sister of Robert, John, Willie, Cathy, Joan and the late Pat.
Sadly missed by her loving husband and family, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law Damien and Cathal, daughters-in-law Brea and Jackie, grandchildren Faye, James, Will, Shea, Mia, Grace, Jim, Harry, Ned, Daniel, Beth-Anne and Alison, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh. O’ Connor Ltd. on Tuesday (February 24th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Thursday (February 26th) in St. Patrick’s Church, Whitechurch which will be live streamed on
Funeral afterwards to Dun Bolg Cemetery.
