The death has occurred of Elizabeth Hughes, (née Smith), 32 Beechgrove, Clones, Co. Monaghan (H23X018), Friday 17th May 2024. Peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of the Oncology Unit, Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Predeceased by her mother Agnes.

 

Beloved wife of Jim and adored mother of Fintan (Voirrey), Declan (Edel), Claire (Gerard). Elizabeth will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband, daughter, sons and their partners, much loved grandchildren, AJ, Matthew, Ciara, Billy, Aisling, Carla, Erica and Olivia, sister Geraldine (Smith) and brother Jimmy (Smith), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Elizabeth.

 

May Elizabeth's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

 

Elizabeth will repose at the family home, 32 Beechgrove, Clones (H23 X018), Co. Monaghan on Saturday 18th from 4pm to 9pm and Sunday 19th from 4pm to 9pm,(family time at all other times, including Monday morning Please) with removal on Monday morning at 10:30am to the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver's Cemetery, Clones.

 

Elizabeth's funeral cortège to the chapel will travel on foot via The Diamond and Fermanagh St.

 

Please note there will be parking available at Clones Credit Union car park.
