LANGAN (née Kirwan) (Cabinteely and formerly of Monkstown Farm, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) – February 24th 2026 (peacefully) surrounded by her family while in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Columcille’s Hospital, Loughlinstown. Elizabeth (Lena); dearly beloved wife of Jimmy and devoted mother to Sharon, Stephen, Lisa and Gary. Predeceased by her sisters Kathleen and Alice and brothers Willie, Joey and Michael. She will be very sadly missed by her loving husband, children and their partners, Max, Mary, Paul and Caoimhe, her adoring grandchildren, Daragh, Ross, Jorden, Lauren, Daisy, Lenny, Freya and Isla, great-grandchildren, Jace and Sophie, brother, John, sister, Mary, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Friday (Feb 27th) from 5pm until 7pm (all welcome). A Celebration of Lena’s life will take place on Saturday (Feb 28th) at 10am in St. Michael’s Chapel of Ease within the Funeral Home, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill.
