Elizabeth (Lil) O'Shea
(née Buckley)
Elizabeth (Lil) O’Shea (née Buckley), Ballyknockin, Ballyhillogue and formerly of Monaparson, Mourneabbey, peacefully, on January 21st, 2026, in the presence of her loving family and in the tender care of the Staff of the Dromore Unit, Nazareth House, Mallow.
Beloved wife of the late Jerry, dear mother of Teresa (Roche), Phil, Marion (Curtin) and Jerome, mother-in-law of the late Michael Roche and Dan Curtin, grandmother of the late James Fintan Roche and sister of the late Norrie (Coakley), Eily (Burke) and Sr. Raphael (Maureen).
Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law Mary (O’Connor) and Hannah (O’Sullivan), adored Nannie of Sandra, Raymond, Leanne, Philip, Diarmuid, David, Gearóid, Seán, Eoin, Ruth and Brian, great-grandmother of Lily, Cillian, James and Saoirse, her sister-in-law Kay (Jones), nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives, wonderful neighbours, carers and friends.
May She Rest in Peace.
Lying in repose at Nazareth House Chapel, Mallow (P51 T889), on Friday (January 23rd) from 5pm with Prayers at 7pm.
Reception into St. Michael the Archangel Church, Analeentha (P51 WV97) on Saturday (January 24th) for Requiem Mass at 2pm which may be viewed on www.mycondolences.ie.
Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait's, Cemetery, Mallow (P51 KP11).
