Darby, Elizabeth (Lilly), (née Begg) – 30th November 2025, (Kilbarrack and formerly of Old Town, Co Dublin)

 

Unexpectedly surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at Raheny Community Nursing Unit.

 

Beloved wife of the late Patrick and loving and caring mam of Martin, Pat, Jerry, John, Chris and Theresa, cherished nanny to Gemma, Rebecca, Aóife, Leah, Ryan, Cormac, Siobhan and Cillian.

 

Elizabeth will be very deeply missed by her, daughter and sons, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brother and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

 

"May her gentle soul rest in peace."

Reunited in heaven with her husband Patrick, her daughter Mary and all her loved ones gone before.

 

Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Road Coolock, D17FK58 on Friday afternoon December 5th from 2pm to 4pm.

Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of St Paul’s Ayrfield arriving for Funeral Mass at 9.30am followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery.
