It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Elisabeth (Lilly) Jervis, who departed this life after a courageous battle with Chronic Arthritis and Late-Stage Alzheimer’s. She was lovingly cared for by the dedicated staff at TLC Care Home, Santry, surrounded by her devoted family.

 

Beloved wife of fifty-six years to Brendan, and cherished mother to Mark, Timmy, Brendan, and the late Elizabeth (Lizzy), Lilly’s life was a testament to love and devotion. Predeceased by her parents, Kathleen and Timmy, and her brother Timmy, Lilly was a pillar of her community and a dedicated member of her local church in Ballymun.

 

Lilly’s generous spirit and commitment to others will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her husband Brendan, her children, and her grandchildren David, Ryan, Sam, Emily, Alex, Brendan, Matthew, and Leah. She also leaves behind her daughters-in-law Sinead and Lisa, her sisters Mary, Kathleen, Margaret, and Martina, as well as her sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends, and the many lives she touched with her kindness.

 

Reposing at her home on Wednesday, the 22nd, from 12 noon to 6 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday morning at 10 am at the Church of the Virgin Mary, Ballymun, followed by cremation at Dardistown Crematorium. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Alzheimer’s Ireland.
