Elizabeth (Lily) Dooner (nee Banks), Ennybegs, Longford and formerly of Derrycasson, Mullinalaghta, peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family on 9th January 2026. Pre-deceased by her husband Michael (Mikey), parents John and Rose Banks, sister Mary, infant sister RoseAnne and by her brothers Tommy, John and Packie.

Lily will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her daughters Regina, Patricia Connerton and Caroline Brady (Tulsk), sons Michael, Sean and Kevin, daughters-in-law Marie and Sandra, sons-in-law Padraig and Eddie, adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford (N39 EC81) on Sunday 11th January from 7.00pm concluding with prayers at 9.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection in St.Mary’s Church, Ennybegs (N39 AH01) on Monday 12th January at 12.00noon, following Mass Lily will be laid to rest in Aughaboy Cemetery.
