The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Liz) Guinan (née Ryan), Springfield, Fivealley, Birr, Co. Offaly, January 16th, 2023 (unexpectedly), at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore, in her 97th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Peter and son Peter Jnr. She will be sadly missed by her sons and daughters; Pat (Birr), Kieran (Kilcormac), Nuala Gath (Dowras), Pauline Conroy (Kilcormac), Joe (Fivealley), Denis (Fivealley), Maura Hickey (Rahan), Betty Spain (Birr), Brendan (Springfield) and Brian (Cork), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law; Betty Ryan (Kilcormac) and Mary Guinan (Rath), nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr (R42 YF75) on Wednesday evening from 5pm - 7pm. Removal to arrive at St. James' Church, Eglish, on Thursday morning for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
