Elizabeth (Liz) O'Brien
(née Connolly)
O’Brien (Mitchelstown).
On June 26th 2021, peacefully, with her family and in the wonderful care of all at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork, Elizabeth (Liz) (née Connolly), 5, Robert Street, Mitchelstown and formerly of Anglesboro.
Beloved wife of James, loving mother of James, Sharon (Fitzgerald) and the late Jennifer and devoted granny of Ava, Kate, Jamie, Eoin and Molly.
Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Mairead, son-in-law Sarsfield, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives, neigbhours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
In an effort to follow best practices and guidelines regarding COVID-19, Liz’s funeral will take place privately. We thank you for your understanding at this difficult time. Please use the “Condolences” section below to leave a personal message or send a condolence card by the traditional manner.
Liz’s Funeral Cortège will leave The Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown on Tuesday (June 29th) at 11.30 a.m. and travel via King’s Square, Georges Street, Robert Street and Lower Cork Street on its way to the Church of Mary Conceived Without Sin, Mitchelstown for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by private cremation at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
