Cooney (née O’Driscoll) (formerly Burke), (Dublin and Cork) January 6th, 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Cherry Orchard Hospital, Elizabeth (Lizzie/Betty) late of Mourne Road, Drimnagh and formerly of Kinsale.

Beloved wife of the late Dermot and much-loved mother of Johnny, Kathleen, Michael, Elizabeth, Marian, Geraldine, Thomas, Sheila, Dermot, Caroline, and the late Patricia. Sadly, missed and always remembered by her loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchild relatives, and friends.

May she Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her home on Thursday (January 9th) from 3pm to 7pm and on Friday (January 10th) from 3pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10 o’clock in Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Mourne Road followed by burial to Mount Jerome Cemetery.
