Elizabeth Marion Phelan
(née O'Dwyer)
Elizabeth Marion Phelan (née O’Dwyer), of Jersey Channel Islands, and St. Michael’s Road, Tipperary Town, a much-loved wife, mother, granny, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on January 31st, 2026.
Elizabeth was the heart of her family, a wonderful wife to her devoted husband Tim, a caring and ever-present mum to Simon, Stephen and Paul, and a proud and adoring granny to Fergus and Finnian, who brought her endless joy. Claire, Simon’s wife, and Katy, Paul’s fiancée, were welcomed with open arms and quickly became not just family, but much-loved friends
She is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her brother Pat, his wife Helen, and her cherished nieces and nephew, along with her wider family, neighbours and many friends whose lives were touched by her humour, strength and unwavering loyalty.
Elizabeth’s warmth, generosity and presence will stay with all who knew her. Her love was the thread that held her family together, and her legacy lives on in them.
May she rest in peace.
Funeral date: Wednesday 18th February 2026, at 2.30pm, in Jersey.
