(née Chapman)
Elizabeth Stewart (née Chapman), Mount Avenue, Dundalk, passed away peacefully on 3rd April 2026, while in the tender and devoted care of the staff at Carlingford Nursing Home, surrounded by the love and support of her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Douglas (Doug). Cherished mother of Michael and Stephen, much-loved grandmother to Andrea, Conor and Aishling and sister of Eva and late Doris
She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her heartbroken sons, sister, daughters-in-law Mercedes and Karen, grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and many friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, warmth and gentle presence.
Reposing at McGeoughs Funeral, Jocelyn Street A91 XW66 from 3pm until 5pm on Tuesday 7th April. Removal on Wednesday morning 8th April at 10.40am to St. Paul’s Church Heynestown (A91 TP22) for Service at 11am on Wednesday, followed by burial in adjoining Churchyard.
