Elizabeth THOMSON
(née Farrell)
Elizabeth Thomson (née Farrell) of 8 Chaff St., Graiguecullen and formerly Tinryland, Carlow, passed away peacefully, on March 6th, 2025, at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Beloved wife of the late Ian, much loved mother of Kathleen and John, adore grandmother of Gavin, Charlotte and Heather and cherished sister of Ann, Doreen, Kay, Billy, Bob, Pat and the late May and Mick.
She will be sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Gary, John’s Partner Liisa, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May Elizabeth’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace
Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq., Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) from 4pm on Sunday March 9th, concluding with Prayers at 7.30pm that evening. Removal from there on Monday morning at 10.30am to St Joseph’s Church Tinryland, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
