Ella Kenny
(née Purcell)
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Ella Kenny (née Purcell). Wife of the late Jim Kenny. Pre-deceased by her parents Tom and Nellie Purcell, Jossestown, Fethard and her brothers Frank and Charlie.
Ella will be sadly missed by her much loved daughters Nuala, Ailish and Claire and sons Liam and Noel, her only sister Rena and brothers Toby, Tom and Ger. Devoted nan of Chloe, Jessica, Jack, Eoin, Ellie, Jenny, Lucy, Louis, Daisy, Ruby and Alice, great-grandmother to Lauren, Rosie and Theo, sons-in-law Michael, Sean and Donncha, daughters-in-law Mary and Rebecca, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Ella passed away peacefully at Melview Nursing Home (Sonas), Clonmel, surrounded by her loving family.
"To the World she was Ella, to us she was the World".
Ella will repose at her home in Drumdeel, Fethard (E91KA49) from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Wednesday January 22nd 2025.
Funeral Mass on Thursday in the Holy Trinity Parish Church, Fethard, at 11.00am followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.
