Mills, Ella, Clontarf, Dublin. Past pupil of St. Vincent de Paul Girls School, Marino and Sutton Park School, and a student of literature at Trinity College, Dublin, and Columbia University, New York. Ella died tragically during a kayaking trip on the Potomac River. She will, however, live forever in the hearts of her mother, Jo-Ann, and father, Ralph, siblings Isabel and Leo, nana Ann, her aunts and uncles Jacinta, Alan, Michael, Megan, Seán, Nancy, Jimmy, Jenny, Deirdre, Thomas, Brian and Elise, cousins Cormac, Seán, Conal, Daniel, Zoe, Emmett, Liam, Séamus, Luke, Nolan and Ben and all of her extended family and her wide circle of friend on both sides of the Atlantic. She will also be fondly remembered by students of CTY Ireland, the Bernie Delaney School of Speech and Drama and Columbia Kayaking Club.
A Service to celebrate Ella’s life will be held in Dardistown Crematorium Chapel on Saturday, 30th September, beginning at 10am. Ella will then be buried with her Grandpa in St Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton, with arrival circa 12.45pm.

The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust aims to alleviate the financial hardship of bereaved families repatriating loved one’s who have died abroad in sudden or tragic circumstances back to Ireland.
