Ellen Clancy (née Lawless) of Blacklion, Greystones, Co. Wicklow.
September 27th 1956 ~ October 6th 2025.
Peacefully after a long illness, with loved ones by her side, while in the exceptional care for the past seven months of all the amazing team at the Wicklow Hospice Magheramore.
Heartfelt thank-you to Dr Brendan Cuddihy for his unwavering commitment, dedication and constant friendship over many years, we as a family can never thank him enough.
Pre-deceased by her beloved parents Seán and Una Lawless (née Madden).
Remembered with love by her devoted children Alison and Paul, brother Ger, adored grandchildren Ella, Ollie and Ruby, Alison’s partner Lyndon, Paul’s partner Claire, Ger’s wife Anne-Marie, nephews Seán and Brian, niece Katie, lifelong friends Sammy and Pat, cousin Marian, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours, her loyal and dear friends and most of all her four-legged best friends Whitney and Robin.
Reposing at Mark Kinsella Funeral Home, 1 Main Street, Newtownmountkennedy on Wednesday evening (October 8th) from 5pm until 7pm.
Funeral cortège will walk from her home (dogs are also welcome to walk) on Thursday afternoon (October 9th) at 1.40pm to St. Kilian’s Church, Blacklion for Funeral Mass to celebrate Ellen’s life at 2pm, after which Ellen will be laid to rest with her parents in Redford Cemetery, Blacklion.
