Ellen Fitzgerald
(née Riordan)
Fitzgerald (Little Island, Co. Cork): On February 19th, 2019, peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff in Ward 3B, Cork University Hospital in her 97th year, ELLEN (née Riordan), beloved wife of the late Daniel and loving mother of Michael, Kathleen (Brennan) and Eileen (O’Sullivan).
Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Pat and Jimmy, daughter-in-law Marie, grandchildren Deirdre, Pat, Anne-Marie, Donal, Fiona, Theresa and Niamh, great-grandchildren, relatives, carers and friends especially Margaret and Bridie.
Reposing at her home on (Wednesday) from 6.00pm with Removal at 8.00pm to St. Joseph's Church, Little Island. Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon on (Friday). Funeral afterwards to Caherlag Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, to the Cork University Hospital.
