The death has occurred of
Ellen Furey
It is with great sadness we announce the death of Ellen Furey, San Francisco and formerly Gurrane North, Oranmore, Co. Galway who passed away peacefully on the 19th January 2025 after a short illness. Predeceased by her parents Rodger and Celia: her brothers Tom, Michael Francis and Billy: her sister Margaret. Lovingly remembered by her brother Roddy, her nephews Thomas, Michael John and Leo, her niece Marie, her sisters in law Sal and Mary, her grandnephews and grandnieces, the extended family, neighbours and friends.
May Ellen's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace
Ellen's requiem mass will take place on Saturday, 1st March, at 2pm in the church of The Immaculate Conception, Oranmore. Interment of ashes afterwards to the cemetery in Main Street, Oranmore.
