The death has occurred of Ellen K. Egan of Washington Township, New Jersey, USA and Mullanadara, Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim who passed away peacefully in the loving care of her family on Monday, April 29, 2024. Dearest sister of Margaret Egan McGirl (New Jersey, USA), Dan Egan (Leitrim, Ireland) and the late Ann Gallagher and the late Frank Egan and sister-in-law of Mary Egan. Ellen is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and one great-great niece. She will be remembered for her patient & kind manner and generosity of spirit and will be truly missed by all.

The Funeral will begin on Tuesday, May 7, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, New Jersey, USA. The Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Ave. Hackensack, at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home. You are invited to share a memory or leave a message of sympathy in the condolence section below.
