The death has occurred of
Ellen Mary (Nell) Walsh
Walsh (Hare Hill, Gaggin) on May 25th 2024 (in her 99th year) peacefully in the tender and loving care of her family and staff of Bushmount Nursing Home, Clonakilty. Ellen Mary (Nell) (late of A.I.B. Cork), daughter of the late Michael and Ellen Walsh (nee Flynn), beloved sister of the late Nancy Canniffe (Hare Hill), Kitty Campbell (Ardee), Peg Barry (Glanmire), John (Gaggin) and Fr. Pat (Ahiohill).
Deeply regretted by her nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephews, great-grandnieces, cousins, friends and neighbours.
Nell will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon on Tuesday from 5.30pm followed by prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in St. Patrick's Church, Bandon which will be livestreamed on http://bandonparish.ie/live/, funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bushmount Nursing Home and the staff in St.Finbarr's Hospital, Cork for the excellent care given to Nell.
