The death has occurred of
Ellen Meehan
MEEHAN (Cork) On 15th March 2026, unexpectedly but peacefully following a short illness, in the presence of her loving family and in the tender care of the doctors, nurses and staff at the Mercy University Hospital, ELLEN (nee Sheehan), Bride Valley View, Fairhill and late of Youghal Carpets. Dearly beloved mother of Alan, adored Nanny Ellen of Sophie, Ryan, Alex, Alan and Aoife, great grandmother of Charlotte and loving partner of the late Liam.
Sadly missed by her loving son, grandchildren, great granddaughter, Alan’s father John, daughter-in-law Andrea, sisters Ann, Carmel and Linda, brother Francis, Lyndsey, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law Trudy, extended family, very kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at Coughlan's Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Wednesday (18th March) from 2.00pm, family in attendance at 6.00pm with Rosary at 7.00pm. Funeral afterwards to St. Michael's Cemetery, Blackrock. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Mercy Hospital Foundation or the Irish Cancer Society.
