Ellen (Nellie) Brooks
(née Callanan)
Brooks (nee Callanan), Ellen (Nellie), Mackney, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, 21st. February 2016, in the wonderful and professional care of Galway Hospice, Renmore. Reunited with her husband Michael and daughter Jackie McHugh. Much loved and devoted mother to Geraldine Minton (Ballinasloe) and Philippa O'Malley (Westport). Will be greatly missed by her heartbroken daughters, adoring grandchildren, Michael, Philip and Janet McHugh, Bryan and Elena Minton, Matthew, Kate and Clare O'Malley, sons-in-law Denis and Peter, sister-in-law Maureen, niece, Marian, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at Portiuncula Mortuary Chapel tomorrow, Tuesday evening, from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday in St. Michael's Church at 12 noon followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery. No flowers by request, donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice, Renmore.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
