Ellen (Nellie) Dunphy
(née Cunningham)
Ellen (Nellie) Dunphy, née Cunningham, Dairy Hill, Cuffesgrange, Co. Kilkenny.
Peacefully, in her 96th year, in the wonderful care of management and staff at Archersrath Nursing Home, Kilkenny, on Sunday, 19th November 2023.
Pre-deceased by her beloved husband James and her brothers Christy, Paddy and Michael and her sister Bridget.
Deeply regretted by her beloved children John, Elizabeth (Farrell), Rose (Donegan), Ellen (Nolan), Anne (Hughes) and David. Ellen will be dearly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Jim, Declan, John and Jim, daughters-in-law Geraldine and Karen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Hazel, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May Nellie Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443) on Tuesday, 21st November from 5pm.
Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm followed by removal to St. Molua’s Church, Killaloe (Eircode R95 YX09).
Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballykeeffe.
