It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ellen, on the 4th of April, 2026, at Mercy University Hospital, Cork, in the presence of her loving family.

Ellen, predeceased by her son Paul, her parents Patrick and Catherine, her brothers and sisters, and her partner and dear friend Sean.

Deeply mourned by her daughter Kate (Lewis), and her sons Frank, Eugene, and Michael. Sadly missed by her son-in-law Andrew, her brother John, her sister-in-law Kathleen, and her daughters-in-law Marian and Bridget.

Always remembered and loved by her grandchildren, specifically Saoirse and Jordan; her great-grandchildren, specifically John, her nieces particularly Trish, Pauline and Mary, her nephews, relatives, and kind neighbours. Fondly remembered by her dearest friend Mary (Lynch) and her wider circle of friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Grace's Funeral Home Kanturk (P51 WDX8) on Tuesday from 6 pm with prayers at 7:30 pm. Reception into The Church of the Immaculate Conception Kanturk on Wednesday for requiem mass at 10 am. Funeral afterwards to St Patrick's Cemetery Kanturk.
