Ellen Young
(née Lucey)
Young (Lombardstown) On January 28th. 2020 peacefully in the tender care of Marymount University Hospital and Hospice Ellen (nee Lucey) Gortmore, beloved wife of the late Fintan and dear mother of Donna. Sharon (O'Hanlon), Gerard, Eamon, Seamus, and the late Oliver, sister of Mary (Duggan) and the late Hannah (Kearney) and the late Gerald Lucey and sister-in-law of the late Con Kearney. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, sister, her 10 grandchildren, great-grand-children, son-in-law Dermot, daughters-in-law Mary, Anne and Elmarie, Donna's partner Jason, brother-in-law Michael, sisters-in-law Mary (Lucey) and Eileen (Forde), nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at McCarthy's Funeral Home, Banteer. Rosary on Thursday evening at 8.30pm. Reposing Friday evening from 6.30pm followed by removal at 8pm to St. Fursey's Church, Banteer. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Fursey's Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Marymount University Hospital and Hospice.
May she rest in peace.
