Ellie O’ Sullivan (nee Sweeney), (Greenlane, Kenmare and formerly of Doughill, Kenmare, Co Kerry). On the 15th of March, 2026, Ellie passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Bantry General Hospital and in the presence of her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Jack. Cherished mom of Margaret (Greenlane), Mary (Teahan, Sneem), Eileen (O’ Sullivan, Glengarriff), Jimmy (Tullamore) and Frances (Holland, Glengarriff). Adoring grandmother of Joanna, Tina, David, Alan, Matthew, Dylan, Linda, Kevin and Mark, great-grandmother to J.J., Ellie, Anna, Sophia, Tommy, Ellie, Belle, Beau, Apollo, Matthew and Caoimhe.

Sadly missed and dearly loved by her son, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law John, Brendan and Joe, nieces Bonnie and Ann-Marie, nephews Terry, Steven and John, relatives, especially Martin, kind neighbours, especially Mairéad and her many great friends.

 

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.

 

Reposing at O’ Connor’s Funeral Home, Kenmare (V93 XP79) on Tuesday evening (March 17th) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Requiem Mass for Ellie will take place on Wednesday morning (March 18th) at 10.30am in Holy Cross Church, Kenmare which will be live streamed on www.kenmareparish.ie followed by burial in Holy Cross New Cemetery, Kenmare.
