O’MAHONY (Inchydoney, Clonakilty): on November 21st 2024 peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff at Bushmount Nursing Home, Clonakilty. ELMA (nee McCarthy) beloved wife of the late Donal, much loved mother of Clare (O’Sullivan), Joe, Kevin, Colette (Nolan) and Tony, sister of the late Dan Joe and Pat. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons-in-law Paul and Jim, daughters-in-law Cathy, Mairin and Hwee Peng, brothers Cal and Fr. Ted, sisters-in-law Tess and Sr. Clare, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Saturday, November 23rd 2024, from 4pm to 6pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Monday, November 25th 2024, at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty.

The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Bushmount Nursing Home for their kindness and friendship. Thank you also to the Doctors and staff at Clonakilty Medical Centre for their care to Elma throughout the years.
