Elsie McCarthy
The death has occurred of Elsie McCarthy, Long Island, Schull and New York. On October 2nd 2023, peacefully after a long illness in New York. Elsie, daughter of the late Corneilius and Ellen McCarthy and sister of the late Michael, Mary, Frances, Gussie and Connie, niece Bernadette and grandnephew Patrick Sean Baker. She will be sadly missed by her sister Peggy (Dempsey), brother Billy, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Arundel and O' Sullivan's funeral home, Schull on Sunday 22nd October from 5pm-7pm followed by prayers. Requiem mass in St.Mary's Church, Schull on Monday 23rd October at 2pm. Burial immediately afterwards in Schull cemetery.
