(née Minchin)
COLGAN Emily (née Minchin) (Greystones, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Josephine Avenue, Dublin 7) – January 8, 2023, peacefully, in her 97th year, surrounded by her family, in the wonderful care of St. John’s House Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Gerry, treasured mum of Brian, Jacqueline (Pierce), Jean (Coleman) and Louise, mother-in-law of David, Barbara and Barry, cherished Nana of Rachel, Lainey, Laura, Emma, Sarah, Brian and Tanya and great-grand mum of Conor. Emily will be forever missed by her family, nieces, nephews and friends. A light has gone out in our lives, but we are comforted in the knowledge that she is reunited with her beloved Gerry.
Funeral Service to celebrate Emily’s life will take place on Friday, 13th January, at 11.00am, in St. Patrick’s Church, Church Road, Greystones, followed by interment in Redford Cemetery, Blacklion, Greystones. Family flowers only please. The Service may also be viewed online by clicking here. Donations, in lieu, if desired, to Stewarts Foundation or St. John’s House Nursing Home.
