Emily Whitford

Emily passed away following a long illness bravely borne peacefully in the care of the staff of The Meadows Care Home, Alfreton, Derbyshire on Sunday 4th February 2024.

Predeceased by her parents Alfie and Lillie, her sister Rosaleen and brother Hugh. Emily will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Jeanette and Jeanette’s partner Russ, son Timothy. Grandsons: Matthew & Kieran. Granddaughter: Lexie. Brothers: Harry and Alfred. Sisters: Lily (England), Myrtle (Acheson), Mabel (Deane), Eunice (Boyd) and Sylvia, her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, great-grandsons, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Emily’s funeral service is being held on Friday, March 1st in Alfreton Parish Church before she is laid to rest in Alfreton Cemetery.
