(née Curran)

Goatstown, Dublin

Emma Clancy (née Curran) (formerly of Mount Anville Lawn, Goatstown, Dublin) – June 27th, 2025. Passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Blackrock Hospice and while surrounded by her loving family and friends. Beloved wife of Eamon, adored mother of Oscar, much-loved daughter of the late Eileen and Joe Curran, and cherished sister of Jacinta and Paul.

 

Sadly missed and remembered by all her loving family, mother-in-law Betty, sisters-in-law Julia and Lori, brother-in-law Gary, nephews Joe and Aaron, niece Katie, relatives, neighbours, work colleagues and her many exceptional friends.

 

May she Rest in Peace

 

Emma will repose at JP Ward & Sons Funeral Home, Sandyford Village (D18 C8P7) on Tuesday evening (July 1st) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (July 2nd) to the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion (A94 YW74) arriving for 12pm Mass, followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery, Mount Venus Road, Rathfarnham (D16 RH50).

Emma asked for an invitation to be extended to anyone attending her funeral, that they should feel free to wear bright coloured clothing in celebration of her life, and she also expressed a wish that instead of flowers that a donation could be given to a charity which was very special to her “ARC Cancer Support Centre”.
