Emmet Cullen

It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved husband, and father Emmet.

 

Emmet, devoted husband of Gráinne and dearly beloved father to Peter, Gráinne, Vi, Emmet, Bryan, and the late Heather has passed away peacefully.

 

Sadly missed by daughters-in-law, Michelle and Elaine. Sons-in-law, James and Damian, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends and former colleagues from St Peters College.

 

A devoted grand-dad to Jack, Heather, Juliana, James-Lewis, Ben, Amy, Morgan, Rian, Adam and Mia, Emmet was the heart and inspiration to a large and loving family.

 

A dear and much loved brother to Olive, Cyril and Peter, and the late Leonard, Raymond and Father Ben.

 

A wonderful father and husband, Emmet will be remembered for his strength, warmth, and unwavering love. His devotion to his family was boundless. Emmet will be deeply missed and be forever in our hearts.

 

Emmet you lived with a quiet strength and a fire that never dimmed.

Reposing at Mackens Funeral Home, Distillery Road, Wexford, Y35 HP29 on Thursday 28 August from 5pm to 7pm. Reposing at his residence on Friday 29 August from 3pm to 6pm. Funeral arriving to the Church of the Annunciation, Clonard on Saturday 30 August for funeral mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Ibar's Cemetery, Crosstown.
