Emmett Downey, 30 Milbrook, Kinlough, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Greenlough, Co. Derry, suddenly and unexpectedly on the

28th January 2026.

 

Beloved husband of Marie and adored father of Eoin, Rian and Christopher.

 

Forever loved and sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, parents Eamon & Anne, brothers Seamus (Geraldine) and Paul (Charlene), his sisters Martina (Liam), Brenda (Mark) and Denise (Sean), his mother-in-law Margaret, brothers-in-law Patrick, Michael (Emer) and Shane (Megan), sister-in-law Geraldine (Sean) and all his many nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

May Emmett Rest in Eternal Peace

 

Emmett will be reposing at his home, 30 Millbrook, Kinlough (F91P8R2) on Friday (30th Jan) from 2pm to 8pm. All welcome.

House private at all other times please.

 

Removal from his late residence on Saturday morning (31st Jan) at 10.30am to arrive at St. Aidan’s Church, Kinlough for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am.

 

Removal afterwards to St. Aidan’s Cemetery, Kinlough for a burial service.
