Ena passed away peacefully on Thursday 12th February 2026, in her 99th year, in the loving care of the nursing staff at the Residence Nursing Home Portlaoise and previously at Ballard Lodge Nursing Home Portlaoise. Predeceased by her husband J.J.

Beloved mother of Marie, Jer, Séan, Liam, Tony, Elaine and Freida. Sadly, missed by her loving family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath eircode R32Y661on Saturday evening 14th February from 6.0’clock, concluding with Rosary at 8.0’clock. Removal on Sunday afternoon 15th February to St. Edmund’s Church, Castletown eircode R32KT22, for Requiem Mass at 2.0’clock, followed by Burial in Camross Cemetery.
