The death has occurred of Ena (Florence) Downes (nee Shier), Beagh Cross, Askeaton, Co. Limerick. Peacefully, on June 1st 2021, in the loving care of Thorpe’s Nursing Home staff. Beloved wife of the late Sam, loving mother to David, Tommy, Janet and Helen, sister to the late Bertha and Bobby. Sadly missed by her sons, daughters, sons in law, daughters in law, her eleven grandchildren, relatives and many friends.

Ena’s funeral service will take place at 2.30pm on Thursday, 3rd June, in Castletown Church with burial afterwards in the church grounds.
