Eoghan passed away, peacefully at home, following a lengthy illness, borne with great dignity and bravery throughout. Pre-deceased by his parents Ralph and Kathleen, his brother Ailbe and sisters Crea and Darry, brother-in-law Seán and sister-in-law Maureen.
Cherished brother of Eleanor, Edwin, Ralph (R.V.) and Marla, beloved brother-in-law of Owen and Eleanor, cherished friend of Darry's partner Frank and dearest friend of Erna, Eithne and Carmel whose kindness will always be remembered.
Sadly missed by all of his family, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, his wonderful carers, friends and his friends in University Hospital Galway (UHG).
A private family funeral will take place on Friday, 9th April in accordance with current Covid-19 guidelines. The attendance at the church, outside the church door and at the cemetery will be limited to 10 people.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Eoghan at 11am at St. Ignatius Jesuit Church, Sea Road, on Friday and following Mass he will be laid to rest in the new cemetery, Bohermore.
