Eoin O'Gorman

Eoin Thomas Finbar O'Gorman (Naas, Co. Kildare). Suddenly, but peacefully, died in the Tallaght Hospital in the early morning on 8th November 2022. Beloved husband of Margaret(nee McEwan) and father of Jennifer, Peter and Gerard; sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, daughter, sons, brother Anthony, Pat, Donal and Barry, sisters Nuala, and Breda, grandchildren - Jessica, Matthew, Casey, Isabel and Peyton, daughters-in-law Louise, son-in-law Paul, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, cousins and a large circle of friends.

“He never looked for praise, He was never one to boast, He just went on quietly working, For the ones he loved the most.

His dreams were seldom spoken, His wants were very few, And most of the time his worries, Went unspoken too.

He was there…. A firm foundation, through all our storms in life, A sturdy hand to hold on to, In times of stress and strife.

A true friend we could turn to, When times were good or bad, One of the greatest blessings, The man that we called Dad.” *

As in life, Eoin's final gift was to gift his body to medical science which he hoped would help others who had his illness. This meant the immediate family had very quick and intimate service on the 8th November in Tallaght Hospital.
