Eoin O'Mahony

On August 18th 2023, EOIN passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family, after an illness bravely borne. Much cherished son of Finn and Claire, adored brother of Aoibhe, Cian & Jack, much loved grandson of James and Eily O’Mahony and Paddy and Maureen Murphy. Eoin will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, aunts Helen O'Mahony and Sara O'Mahony uncles Ger O'Mahony and Sean Murphy, grand-uncles, grand-aunts, relatives, his wonderful neighbours, a large circle of loyal friends, and all who knew him.

A golden heart stopped beating

God took him to prove to us

He only takes the best.

Reposing at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry, on Sunday, Aug. 20th, from 3pm to 6pm with vigil prayers at 6pm. Requiem Mass at Star of the Sea Church, Kilcrohane, on Monday at 2.30pm (to view live stream click here) followed by burial in Kilcrohane Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Marymount Hospice, Curraheen, Cork.
